It is such an honor to serve brides located near me in Olympia, the surrounding PNW, and often times even farther! I'm more than just your local bridal seamstress who can shorten your gown and take up your straps. I am a master of my craft, and a master at making each bride look and feel stunning.
There are many things I can alter or redesign that brides, or even other seamstresses, do not realize is possible! I am here to answer all your questions, guide you, and perfect your gown. I promise you will love the entire alterations process and fall in love with your wedding dress even more.The majority of brides have never needed wedding dress alterations, and it can be a daunting experience. So I take just as much care communicating with my brides as I do altering their gowns.

ABOUT ME
My name is Katie and I am truly passionate about the art of sewing and couture dressmaking. I was an apprentice under several master dressmakers; so I gained the kind of knowledge they do not teach in design school, but only from generations of skilled dressmakers.
What sets me apart from other bridal alteration specialists, is my skillset as a couture dressmaker. I really am able to alter or customize anything for a bride. My deep understanding of gown construction allows me to truly enhance a bride's beauty through design and fit.
In fact, I am quite in love with the process of making women feel beautiful. I honestly believe that every single one of my clients is absolutely beautiful, and deserves to feel that way on their wedding day. My brides really do get to experience and feel the artistry of couture sewing.
I'm proud to offer only the highest quality workmanship and fit. I do not strive to be the least expensive seamstress, but I promise that all of my clients receive transparent and fair pricing. I understand that alterations and their prices are not common knowledge to most people. Therefore, I take great care to show various options during each fitting and keep you informed and in charge of your garment. I dread taking my car to the shop and getting a large bill that I don't understand at all! So I make sure my clients never feel that way about their alterations. I will guide you through all your options on fit, sewing, and price; and you simply pick what works for you!
Since every client has unique needs, it is best to fill out my inquiry form and I am happy to offer complimentary virtual consultations/quotes. I will let you know if an in person consultation is necessary for a more complex alteration, redesign, or custom piece.
