My design and customization services really are limitless, due to my extensive dressmaking knowledge. ​
The Signature Fit is a unique garment construction method customized to celebrate your individual proportions; shaping the dress to enhance your natural silhouette. It’s the couture element that goes beyond standard bridal alterations.

The Signature Fit often includes waist contouring, optimal bust lift and support, and the ever coveted "booty pop."
​The most common requests are custom sleeves and redesigns of heirloom gowns. Other common design services include veils, overskirts, capes, new gown backs, slits, and more! In fact... almost every bride experiences design expertise during fittings. Whether it's simply moving the position of existing straps or styling the look with the perfect custom veil.

I am proud to offer only the highest quality workmanship and fit. Katie Rose Brides can look forward to experiencing couture sewing in a relatable way. For most brides, understanding the alterations process and pricing is a brand new experience. Therefore, I take great care to understand your vision and communicate the process with you throughout the booking process and at each fitting.

Since every client has unique needs, it is best to fill out my inquiry form and I am happy to offer complimentary virtual consultations/quotes. I will let you know if an in person consultation is necessary for a more complex alteration, redesign, or custom piece.
ABOUT ME
I'm Katie, and I am truly passionate about the art of sewing and couture dressmaking. I was an apprentice under several master dressmakers; so I gained the kind of knowledge they do not teach in design school, but only from generations of skills and experience.

What sets me apart from other bridal alteration specialists, is this skillset as a couture dressmaker. I really am able to alter or customize anything. My deep understanding of gown construction and ALL figures allows me to truly enhance a bride's beauty through design and fit.
In fact, I am quite in love with the process of using sewing and construction techniques to create a desired silhouette or style. I honestly believe that every single one of my clients is absolutely beautiful, and deserves to feel that way on their wedding day. My brides really do get to experience and feel the artistry of couture sewing.
